A really perfect complement to the shallowness table, this chic vainness bench features an absolutely upholstered webbed seat, hand carved gathered sea grass and ôCö scroll cabriole legs and scalloped apron rails in a frivolously distressed deep cherry. Leg assembly required.
This little member of Powell’s Jamestown Landing series pairs with the matching vainness table or works as space-efficient foyer, bedroom, or lounge seating. Designed within the old-world Queen Anne taste that used to be later adopted by American Colonial craftsmen, the bench packs numerous detail into a small silhouette. To start out, the splendid scroll legs are graced with hand-carved sprays of stylized sea grass and flared, pedestal feet. The scalloped apron meets at a cross-grain to the corner caps, and the textured chenille upholstery contains refined changes in its soft beige hues. Crafted of solid birch with a distressed cherry finish, the bench also seems like an heirloom piece that is been within the circle of relatives for generations. That is for sure a phenomenal conversation piece–and lovely place to take a seat and feature a talk! The bench measures 20-1/2 inches wide by 16-1/2 inches deep by 20 inches top. Minimal assembly is needed to glue the legs. –Kara Karll
